Spring '21 Competitive

20/21 (2020-08-01 - 2021-07-31)

For players seeking a more competitive soccer environment, Bigfork Soccer Club encourages participation in our Storm program. Storm players will see an increased focus on individual skill development and tactical play. Competitive soccer requires more of a commitment from players both in time and focus. Our Storm coaches are required to meet the MYSA coaches training requirements to ensure that players are being appropriately prepared for the high school game and beyond. For Fall 2020, our Storm teams will compete in the Northwest Montana Soccer League (NMSL). Who: The Fall Storm (NMSL) program will host boys and girls U12 and U14 teams. Registration will be available to all players with birth years 2007-2011. Practice/Games: Storm teams will practice at Carlyle-Johnson Park in Bigfork two or three times per week in the afternoon. There will be four weekends of Saturday games (two games per day) with rotating sites (Bigfork, Kalispell, Whitefish, Columbia Falls, Polson, Libby and Plains). Season: Storm registration will close on August 21 at which time we will formulate teams. Practices will start shortly thereafter. Games will begin on September 12 and culminate with a championship tournament on October 17. Gear: Storm players will need to have home and away jersey’s as well as team matching socks and shorts. These can be purchased at time of registration or can be reused from previous Storm seasons. Fees: $125 registration; $75 for uniform kit if needed (Home and Away jersey, shorts, 2 pair socks).
