Fall 2021 Travel/Rec Program (2009 & older) - PLAYER
Welcome to the online registration platform for Exeter United FC's 2021 FALL Travel & Recreational Soccer Program for players 2009 & older!
Note: This registration is open only for players with birth year 2009 or older. Travel program registration for players in 2010-2013 birth years was open prior to evaluations in mid-May. Registration for 2010-2013 players is now provisionally closed; additional information for those age groups can be found here: https://system.gotsport.com/programs/203G27490?reg_role=player
Our goal is to provide a fun, safe, productive, and competitive environment for your child to grow within the game of soccer. Our Coaches and Volunteers are dedicated to helping build skill as well as character and respect in every player involved with our club.
EUFC now has multiple options for players in birth years 2009 & older. We can place more competitive/skilled players in these age groups on a Travel team in the Reading-Berks Junior Soccer League (RBJSL) or we can place players interested in a less competitive experience on a coed Recreational team in the Suburban Counties Soccer League (SCSL). During completion of the registration form you will be asked the preference for your son/daughter. We will use this information to guide us during team formation so that we can get as many players as possible on the field this fall and to give them the best experience possible.
Here is a brief description of the possible options for player placement this fall for players 2009 & older:
FALL TRAVEL teams will play in the Reading-Berks Junior Soccer League (RBJSL) and can expect a 9-game season with practices (twice per week) beginning August 1st. League games begin in early September and end the second weekend of November. Tier 1 teams only are eligible for playoffs the 3rd weekend in November. There are no evaluations/tryouts for players in these age groups as we typically do not have more then one team per age group.
FALL RECREATIONAL teams will play in the Suburban Counties Soccer League (SCSL). This league is co-ed and teams are structured according to school year, not birth year. U14 teams will consist of 7th & 8th grade players, and U16 teams will consist of 9th & 10th grade players. Players may not play in both Rec and Travel and cannot hold a current Travel player pass to play in this league. In order to keep games fair and fun, scores and standings are not posted. Opponents may be from clubs such as Amity, Boyertown, Perkiomen Valley, Pottstown, and others in the area with most games being on Saturdays. Practices will begin in early August, typically 1-2 times per week, and we anticipate a similar 9-game season. EUFC is excited to offer this club experience for players in the junior & senior high school that have typically been too old to play club soccer in the past.
COST: The cost for both programs is $100/player. During registration please be sure to complete all the way through the checkout page. But note that we will not collect any fee until your son/daughter has been placed on a fall team roster in order to avoid issuing of refunds if/when necessary. A $25 late fee may be assessed for any registration received after August 30th.
NEW PLAYERS: Player photos and birth certificate images ARE NECESSARY to complete registration. If a player did not play on an EUFC Travel or Recreational team during the Fall 2020 or Spring 2021 season, you cannot complete Fall 2021 registration without uploading a player photo and birth certificate. Please have these ready. Photos need to be a simple headshot similar to a school or passport photo and must be recent (< 12 months).
UNIFORM NOTES: Additional uniform information will be provided following team formation. During the 2020-21 season we provided a lower cost option for Recreational team players and may possibly do so again. Beginning with the Fall 2021 season ALL EUFC Travel players will be required to wear our current Adidas kit. Cost for the Travel kit is $84 for two jerseys (royal & white), royal shorts and socks.
COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS: With the Fall 2021 season being some time away we are all hopeful that many aspect of our lives will begin returning more to normal as we get later in the year. With that said, we just want all players to be aware that EUFC will continue to follow the guidance provided for youth soccer by the CDC, PA Dept. of Health, US Youth Soccer, our state affiliate (EPYSA) and our league (RBJSL). These precautions are provided in our COVID Safety & Action Plan (available on the EUFC website homepage). This document is routinely updated to reflect the current knowledge and any changes in the requirements we must comply with to allow us to continue to play youth soccer during the ongoing pandemic. Please be aware that at this time players are required to wear masks during all soccer activities.
If you have any questions about the registration process using our new system or have questions/issues while registering your child, please contact Jim Noel at firstname.lastname@example.org or by cell phone at 484-995-5518.
